TUTKA BAY LODGE [ALASKA]
Sounding almost too nice for such a rugged and untouched landscape, Tutka Bay is part of the family-owned Within the Wild Adventure Company. The group consists of three lodges in all. Tutka Bay sits nine nautical miles from Homer on the other side of Kachemak Bay and boasts wild coastlines, deep fjords, dramatic mountain ranges and surprisingly quiet beaches.
Fans of fishing and kayaking may have come across the name before. Kayaking on the ocean, hiking in the Kachemak Bay State Park and fishing for salmon and halibut are some of the activities which make the Lodge a real inside tip for anyone who revels in a holiday close to Nature.
