”Posh Camping” was the title a British travel magazine gave to a recent review of The Serai Hotel tented camp in India. This serail turns the Thar Desert into a real paradise. The 21 air conditioned tented suites all have a bathroom and patio, and are located in a 40 hectare oasis near the desert town of Jaisalmer.
The camp is dominated by a beautiful pool, with a design inspired by traditional Indian baths. During the Indian summer season, however, the camp is closed due to the intense heat.
