Getting Back to Nature – very close to our hearts at DEDON Travel, because we want to be sure that our lust for travel and discovery does not literally cost the earth. On North Island on the Seychelles a concept has been turned into a reality which is a shining example of what we mean: 11 magical guest villas blend into the occasionally dense line of trees and vegetation along the main beach.
They have been created out of materials which became available through the barefoot island’s renaturisation programme. A maximum of 22 guests, looked after by a staff of 150, are doing their bit to support the ambitious conservation project through their holiday here, and are thus contributing to the stated aim of the island’s owners to turn North Island into a kind of Noah’s Ark.
