Jnane Tamsna is nestled amongst lush gardens in the Palmeraie in Marrakesh. Architect Meryanne Loum-Martin first came to Marrakesh in 1985 and was immediately taken by the ”Red Pearl” of the South. She returned to Morocco with her husband Gary again and again until, during dinner one evening under the starry skies, the idea for the Jnane Tamsna was born.
Meryanne’s experience in designing luxury villas and Gary’s passion for gardening combined to create a hotel filled with hospitality and warmth, and which is sensitive to the country’s culture and traditions – an oasis of calm and simplicity in Marrakesh. There are 24 rooms and suites in all, situated in five villas.
