Greystoke Mahale [Tanzania]

The nearest road is almost 60 kilometres away and mountains soar 2,800 metres above Lake Tanganyika. The waters along ist white sandy beaches are crystal clear, and the mountain slopes in the background are such a rich green colour that you could easily imagine yourself in the Garden of Eden. The Mahale Mountains are home to the world’s largest known population of chimpanzees.
