A camp for elephants and true globe trotters.
Abu was a very special and much loved bull elephant. Twenty years ago Wilderness Safaris named their luxury resort Abu Camp after him. The camp, featuring six comfortable and spacious safari tents along with a cosy lounge and an expansive deck with a view over the lagoon, is a great starting point for game trails by Land Rover or dugout canoe into the wildlife-rich Okavango Delta.
Abu Camp owes its unique magic to the eight elephants which live there. Guests can spend time up close with them and learn a great deal about the lives of these impressive creatures and what gentle giants they really are.
